Happy days are back for talented actor Stanley Tucci: He’s engaged! The Devil Wears Prada actor is engaged to the sister of actress Emily Blunt, his co-star in the film. London-based Felicity Blunt works for a literary agency and a source told US Weekly that "Stanley is very happy with her."
Of course, Emily played matchmaker for her sister and friend. "Emily loved Stanley on the set of Devil, and just thought they would hit it off, so she set them up," the source continued to US Weekly.
The couple made the news official at the premiere of Rampart at the Mondrian SoHo in downtown New York City. Felicity showed off her sparkling engagement ring and looked happy together with Tucci.
Tucci deserves this newfound happiness: his first wife, Kate, passed away from lung cancer in 2009.
"There's all the blaming of yourself, which you can't do, but you kind of do," he told NPR a few months after her death. "And I'm just — I'm mostly sad."
The pair had three children together — twins Isabel and Nicolo, now 11, and Camilla, now 9.
"I'm sad for Kate that she can't be here, and I'm sad for my children that they didn't have the opportunity to spend more time with her because she was an extraordinary person," he added.
Now, he seems very content with his new fiancée — he's even spending a lot of time with her in London.
"It hasn't been easy for him getting into a new relationship, but Felicity is a lovely person and very warm and comforting," the US Weekly source said.
