Kim Zolciak Shouldn’t Pull a Kardashian Style TV Wedding

Real Housewife of Atlanta Kim Zolciak has fallen into the rabbit hole. Not that anyone is surprised, but the wig-designing chain-smoker has decided that she'll air herwedding to NFLer Kroy Biermann on Bravo TV.
It's still up in the air whether or not Kim's getting her own Bethenny-like spin-off, or if her nuptials will air during the regular series, but one can only imagine that she's pushing for the former. There's nothing about Kim that's subtle, understated, or reserved -- to her, I'm sure a TV wedding that's coordinated by producers, funded by the network, and entirely absent of any genuine or real moments is a fairytale come true.
If there's one thing that's missing in the world, it's another Kim walking down the aisle to marry a professional athlete on the god-forsaken television.
You'd think Zolciak would realize that maybe champagne wishes and caviar dreams are not as important as authentic emotions. Now that she and fiance Kroy have a baby son together, one would think that such a blessing would put whatmatters into perspective. Then again, she's famous for hair-pulling fights, dating a married real estate mogul, and a "singing" career that's more hilarious than it is anything else.
And that's why we the viewers like Kim. She's over-the-top and she speaks in pithy quotables that cut like knives. She's great TV. But after this whole Kardashian/Humphries disgrace, I don't know, a TV wedding seems so insincere, if not deceitful. Not to mention that there's a "been there, done that" vibe associated with any eccentric bride saying "I do" on camera. We've had the Bachelor/Bacheloretteweddings, the Kardashian weddings, Bethenny's wedding ... maybe it's time to hang up the white Louboutin stilettos and put the made-for-TV weddings to rest.
But if I know Kim, she won't. There'll be more cameras, more lighting experts, and more assistants at her big day than there was at the Super Bowl. She's already sent out a wedding invitation that explains guests are forbidden to bring in their own cameras or cellphones. Guess Kim's gonna jump at the chance to sell any and all of her airbrushed photos to any and all who'll have them. Too bad.
